"I spent my youth in Dalmatia. The dry and burnt landscape, with nothing but rocks, without vegetation. I never knew that all of this had stayed in me. It was not before I went to Spain that I saw a similar landscape and that I felt the memories coming back. Suddenly it happened, I realized that it was my Dalmatian landscape, that it was my home."
