Signed lower right (first name added belatedly). 49 x 79,5 cm (19,2 x 31,2 in).
Almost identical but enlarged repitition of the motif on the painting "Musiker auf dem Heimweg" (Baeumerth Wv 37, oil on wood, 28 x 38 cm). [CB].
The painting will be included under the number 785 into the forthcoming addenda to the catalog raisonné. Wé are grateful to Wilhelm Körs, Düsseldorf, for his kind support in cataloging this lot.
