Brosche mit Porträtminiatur Friedrich des Großen. 19th/20th century.
Gold, silver, diamonds and enamel painting.
Height: 6,2 cm (2,4 in).
Round gilded frame, with hinged needle on rear. Frame bordering in black enamel. With an outside bordering of 34 old-cut diamonds (between 0,05 and 0,35 kt) all the way round, a ruby in center. With silver loop above ruby, with 24 rose-cut diamonds inside, an oval saphire in center. With a chest portrait of Frederick the Great with mounted in centermit tricorn and medals, executed in enemal painting. All diamonds together make for 8 carat.
Brooch mounted in 20th century by using old parts.
