PROVENANCE: Private collection Hesse (from artist's estate).
The work "Dünen nach dem Regen" show Arnold's masterly interpretation of his New Objectivity style: The artist put special emphasis on the atmospheric illustration of the sun rays, which break through the dark clouds and immerse the landscape in a mellow play of light and colors. [KP].
