Focillon 27. Hind 4 II (of III). Robison 31 V (of VI). Signed and Roman numbered in plate. Excellent impression on laid paper with watermark Robison 93. With full margins around platemark and normal centerfold. 54,5 x 41,3 cm (21,4 x 16,2 in). Sheet: 88 x 61 cm (34,6 x 24 in).
State of second editionon, which Piranesi published himself and increased it from fourteen to sixteen sheets. The fourth volume of this second edition was published from the mid 1770s up until ca. 1835. [CB].
