To-be Gercken 1728 V. Dube 637 e 1 V (of V). One of 18 known hand-made proofs, all with minimally varying colors, from this printing state. On Japon. 35.2 x 49.8 cm (13.8 x 19.6 in). Sheet: 39 x 58,5 cm (15,3 x 23 in).
The same subject in opposite direction inspired Kirchner to the small and large version of the painting "Akte im Walde" (cf. Gordon 970 and 971).
Rare woodcut in brilliant colors from Kirchner's later period of creation.
