This work presumably is the work "Drohende Nacht", (Enders 17.Oe.31), shown at the 51. exhibition at the gallery Der Sturm, Berlin, April 1917.

PROVENANCE: Arthur Alexander and Lucy Strauss, Barmen/ The Hague (Dr. med. Arthur Strauss was a cousin of Else Lasker-Schüler. )
