Verso with the stamped signature and estate stamp as well as inscribed "SF73-72" and "DEC3805" by a hand other than that of the artist, as well as with an arrow indicating the direction. On firm wove paper by Fabriano (with watermark). 59.6 x 68.8 cm (23.4 x 27 in), the full sheet.
The work is registered at the Samuel L. Francis Foundation, Glendale/California, with the number SF73-72 and will be included into the forthcoming catalog raisonné "Sam Francis: Catalogue Raisonné of Unique Works on Paper".
