Isermeyer F16. With monogram and date on neck. Once more monogrammed on bottocks and with foundry mark "H.Noack Berlin". Presumably one of just two known casts in a private collection, from a maximum edition of 5. Ca. 60.3 x 85 x 64 cm (23.7 x 33.4 x 25.1 in).
Cast by art foundry Hermann Noack, Berlin.
This is the first time that a rare cast of "Männlicher Torso sitzend" is offered on the international auction market. It counts among the 10 life-size bronzes by Hermann Blumenthal.
PROVENANCE: Private collection Lower Saxony.
