Printed by Kirschbaum Laserscan, Düsseldorf, and published by 'Verein zur Förderung moderner Kunst e. V.' (at Mönchehaus-Museum für moderne Kunst), Goslar. The print is based on a photograph of the oil painting "Kerze" (1982, Butin 512-1), however, it is mirror inverted here. Richter originally used the motif for a poster with white letters for a solo show at the Mönchehaus-Museum für moderne Kunst in Goslar in 1988. [CH].
