Feiniger and his family spent the summer months between 1924 and 1935 in Mrzezyno (formerly called Deep) on the Pommeranian Baltic coast near Kolobzreg (formerly called Kolberg), where this work was presumably made. [CE].
Achim Moeller, dirctor of the Lyonel Feininger Project LLC, New York/Berlin, confirmed this work's authenticity. It is registered in the archive of the Lyonel Feininger Project with the number 1629-10-24-19.
