• Schultze uses the surrealist postulate of the "écriture automatique" as the starting point for his creations, which is supposed to bring out the fantastic and enigmatic realm of the unconscious.
• Bernard Schultze's pictures often associate geological situations.
• By using different color substances, Schultze achieves his characteristic differentiated surface texture.
