Prachtvolle Darstellung des südlichen Sternenhimmels. "For choice and style of constellations on these maps Cellarius relied on the authoritiy of Petrus Plancius." (Warner, Sky explored S. 54)
Tafel 28. Erste Ausgabe noch ohne den Verlegervermerk der Auflage 1708 von Schenk und Valk. Mit zwei Vorhangkartuschen, Putti und figürlichen Szenen mit Astronomen in den unteren Ecken, in schönem Altkolorit.
- ZUSTAND: Leicht gebräunt, Mittelfalte leicht leimschattig und unten mit hinterl. Einriß. Unter Passepartout und Glas gerahmt, nicht geöffnet.

Col. copperplate, heightened with gold in places. Plate 28 from the first edition of Cellarius' celestial atlas "Harmonia macroscosmica" (Janssonius 1660-61), depicting the Southern night sky. - Slightly tanned, centrefold slightly faded and with rebacked split at the bottom. Matted and framed, unopened.
