• Hans Hartung, a key representative of European Informalism and one of the most influential protagonists of the École de Paris.
• Emotional motif in the classic color combination "yellow-black-blue".
• The line is the central characteristic in Hartung's multi-faceted oeuvre.
• In 1975, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, honored the European protagonist of abstract painting with a solo show.
The work is registered in the archive of the Fondation Hans Hartung et Anna-Eva Bergman, Antibes and will be included into the forthcoming catalogue raisonné.
