Der dänische Maler Per Kirkeby (1938-2018) studierte zuerst Geologie und nahm an Expeditionen u. a. nach Grönland, Mittelamerika und in die Arktis teil. So spielt die Natur in seinen Werken bereits sehr früh eine zentrale Rolle. Seine hier gezeigte 9-blättrige Folge verbindet die Natur, den Boden mit Tier und Menschen, teils bricht verkrustete Erde auf, Landschaft und Himmel scheinen sich das Blatt zu teilen. Das gerade Erkannte löst sich aber schnell wieder in von Farbe überlagerten Rissen und abstrakten Formen auf. Gegenständliches und abstrakte Formen spielen miteinander und werden teils durch Farbe wieder verbunden. Einzeln sind die Blätter eher monochrom, aber in der Gesamtheit aller neun Blätter leuchten sie kräftig in den Farben Blau, Orange, Rot, Grün, Gelb und Violett.
- ZUSTAND: Im Randbereich tls. minim. wellig und sehr vereinz. mit minim. Griffknicken. Punktuell fest montiert und unter Glas gerahmt. Unausgerahmt beschrieben. - PROVENIENZ: Galerie Sabine Knust, München. - Seit 2004 in süddeutscher Privatsammlung (vom Vorgenannten erworben).

another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.
The artist‘s resale right compensation is VAT-exempt.
