PROVENANCE: Galerie Meyer-Ellinger, Frankfurt a. Main.

Max Loreau, Catalogue des travaux de Jean Dubuffet, Fascicule XVI: les Phénomènes, Paris 1964, cat. no. 323 (illustrated on p. 195, presumably a different copy).
In good condition. Very slightly browned. On the right above the signature, there is a very slight trace of mounting on the recto (the paper is slightly lighter in this area but not damaged). There is a small pinhole in the center of the white margin at the top and bottom, probably caused during production. There is a tiny tear in the upper margin and a tiny, superficial tear in the paper at the bottom right. Small pencil annotations on the lower edge of the image.
