Nova & accurata ducatuum Slesvici et Holsatiae tabula. Kolorierter Kupferstich nach J. Mejer von M. und N. Petersen. Amsterdam, J. Blaeu 1662ff. Plattengröße 41,5 : 48 cm.
Bekannte, prächtige Karte der Herzogtümer Schleswig und Holstein, eingerahmt vom zahlreichen kleinen Stadtplänen.
Die schöne Karte wurde erstmals 1652 in C. Danckwerths Regionalatlas Newe Landesbeschreibung veröffentlicht und nach der Übernahme der Druckplatten von Joan Blaeu mit lateinischer Titelkartusche in die Ausgaben seines Atlas major 1662ff. integriert. - Die kleine Städtplane an beiden Seiten des Kartenbildes zeigen u. a. Ribe, Schleswig, Hadersleben, Husum, Tondern, Sonderburg, Apenrade, Tönning, Hamburg, Kiel, Itzehoe, Glückstadt, und Plön. Rechts oben mit großer Schmuckkartusche mit figürl. Staffage und Wappendarstellung, unten zwei weitere Kartuschen.
- ZUSTAND: Stockfleckig. Unter Passepartout und Glas gerahmt, nicht geöffnet. - PROVENIENZ: Norddeutsche Privatsammlung.

Beautiful map of the dukedoms of Schleswig and Holstein, flanked by small town plans. Col. engr. map by M. and N. Petersen after J. Mejer, first published in C. Danckwerths famous regional atlas "Newe Landesbeschreibung" in 1652, here in the later edition by J. Blaeu after he bought the plates from Mejer's widow and republished the maps in the editions of his "Atlas major" from 1662 on, with the map titles in Latin. - Visibly foxed, matted and framed, not examined outside the frame. - Northern German private collection.
