• Significant provenance: Directly from the artist’s heirs.
• Tranquil scene with great radiance in a large format.
• As a counterpoint to Ury’s numerous Berlin street scenes, an exceptionally contemplative and calming composition that also demonstrates his versatile skills as a landscape painter.
• In the tradition of German Romanticism, Ury evokes the magic of a "soul landscape".
