With a stamp of the art supplies store Leopold Hess, Berlin. [AW].
• A radiant Nida landscape, with harmonious colors and dynamic, lively brushstrokes.
• Between 1919 and 1921, Pechstein spent the summer months in the small fishing village on the Curonian Spit, drawing inspiration for a series of landscape paintings.
• Pechstein uses the red rescue station as an effective contrast to the gentle dune landscape.
Accompanied by a certificate from Prof. Dr. Aya Soika, Berlin, dated September 20, 2021 (copy). The painting is registered in the archive of the Max Pechstein Copyright Association, Hamburg, under the number 1920/6 B.
