• Homage to technology, the big city, and architecture: Léger's visual language of the period represents the experience of modern man at the beginning of the 20th century.
• A comparable drawing from this creative period is in the collection of the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main; other drawings by the artist are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Centre Pompidou, Paris, and Tate Gallery, London.
With confirmation from the Comité Léger, Paris, on October 15, 2025. The work will be included in the online catalog raisonné of works on paper.
