Signed and inscribed “6620” in the bottom right. Titled and inscribed “67/46” and “66” , along with other numbers, on the reverse, presumably by a hand other than the artist’s. On firm wove paper. 49.8 x 69.6 cm (19.6 x 27.4 in), the full sheet.

• A particularly colorful, expressive depiction with a painting-like effect.
• The technique of watercolor painting is of central importance in Schmidt-Rottluff's work: watercolor dominated his oeuvre without interruption from his years with “Die Brücke” to his final creative phase in the 1970s.
Accompanied by a certificate from the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation, Berlin, where the work is documented.
