Monogrammed and dated in the lower right. With labels on the reverse, some with handwritten numbers and some with stamped numbers “B95” and “1223”. 45 x 33.3 cm (17.7 x 13.1 in).

• The combination of the luminous red flower and the deep blue background creates a strong contrast that makes the painting appear both dynamic and calming.
• The composition demonstrates Münter's masterful command of form and color.
• As early as 1955, her works featured in the first documenta in Kassel.
