EINBAND: Pergamentband des 20. Jhs, unter Verwendung eines alten Graduale mit 2 großen verzierten Initialen in Rot und Blau. Folio. 30 : 21 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit Holzschnitt-Titelbordüre von D. Hopfer und 18 (2 ganzseit.) Textholzschnitten, darunter 5 von Hans Baldung Grien sowie zahlr. Schrotschnitt-Initialen. - KOLLATION: 90 röm. num. Bll. - ZUSTAND: Tls. etw. fingerfl., wenige Bll. im w. R. mit kl. Wurmlöchern, vereinz. mit Eintragungen von alter Hd., letzte 3 Bll. mit restaurierten kl. Fehlstellen im w. R., erstes Textbl. mit kl. mont. St. Georgs-Darstellung, datiert 1681. Rare first edition of the first part with the beautiful woodcuts by Hans Baldung Grien. With a woodcut title border by D. Hopfer and 18 (2 full-page) text woodcuts, including 5 by Hans Baldung Grien, as well as numerous metal cut initials. 20th-century vellum, using an old gradual with 2 large, decorated initials in red and blue. Folio. 30 : 21 cm. - Some fingerstains, few leaves with small wormholes in the white margins, few annotations by old hand, last 3 leaves with restored small defects in the white margins, the first text leaf with a small mounted depiction of St. George, dated 1681. Otherwise a well-preserved copy. - Stamp of the library of the former Imperial Abbey of Ochsenhausen. - Bookplate of Gilbert R. Redgrave (1844-1941) - Bookplate of Karl and Thilde Wagner. - In private ownership in Baden-Württemberg for approximately 35 years.
