Erste Ausgabe. - Die mehrbändige Sammlung militärischer Vorschriften, Anekdoten und historischer Beiträge bietet Einblicke in die preußische Militärgeschichte und -praxis. Von dem Bericht "Der 101 Jahr alte Major von Götze erzählt einige wichtige Anekdoten von der Schlacht bey Fehrbellin und von dem Feldzuge in den Niederlanden" (Bd. 1, S. 149ff.) hat sich Heinrich von Kleist zu seinem Drama Der Prinz von Homburg inspirieren lassen. - Herausgegeben von Carl Daniel Küster (1727-1804).
EINBAND: Halblederbände der Zeit mit floraler Rückenvergoldung und rotem Rückenschild. 17,5 : 11,5 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 6 gestochenen Titelvignetten, 3 gestochenen Porträts, 1 gefalteten kolorierten Kupfertafel und 1 gefalteten grenzkolorierten Kupferkarte. - ZUSTAND: Band 6 leicht fleckig. With 6 engraved title vignettes, 3 engraved portraits, 1 folded colored copperplate, and 1 folded copperplate map with border coloring. - Vol. 6 slightly stained. Map torn. Bindings slightly rubbed and stained. A beautiful copy, clean inside.
