EINBAND: Gefleckte Lederbände der Zeit mit reicher floraler Rückenvergoldung und 2 farbigen Rückenschildern. 10 : 17 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 6 (st. 8) gestochenen Frontispizen und 36 (st. 38?) tlw. gefalteten Kupfertafeln und -plänen. - ZUSTAND: Fehlen in Bd. V mindesten 2 Tafeln (Ausrisse erkennbar). Hier und da gering fleckig, mit vereinz. Randläsuren. Einbde. gering berieben, vereinz. kleine Wurmspuren, 2 Kapitale mit kl. Defekten. - PROVENIENZ: Vorderdeckel mit Bibliotheksschild der Grafen von Schönborn-Buchheim.

Comprehensive collection of travel accounts of the VOC. With 6 (of 8) engr. frontisp. and 36 (of 38?) engr. plates and plans (partly folding). Contemp. calf with rich gilt decoration on spines. 12 volumes (incl. W. Schouten's Voyage aux Indes orientales, 2 vols. With 2 engr. frontisp., 1 engr. portrait an 9 folding engr. plates.). - Condition: Lacking at least 2 plates in vol. V (paper stubs visible). Here and there slightly stained, with few marginal defects. Bindings only slightly rubbed, with few small wormtraces, 2 heads of spine with small defects. - From the library of the counts of Schönborn-Buchheim.
