• Symbolism and spontaneity on a grand scale: In the 1970s, Droese studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Peter Brüning and Josef Beuys.
• Droese’s art addresses issues of money, social power dynamics, and political structures.
PROVENANCE: Galerie Zwirner, Cologne.
Private collection, Rhineland (acquired from the above in 1990).
In good condition. The large sheet of paper shows slight signs of printing, creasing, and rubbing, some of which are due to the printing process. The top and bottom edges are secured to a backing board with staples.
