Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war King durch Bestseller wie Carrie , The Shining und The Stand bereits weltberühmt. Seine enorme Popularität sorgte dafür, daß seine Werke weltweit in riesigen Erst- und Neuauflagen sowie unzähligen Übersetzungen erschienen. - Titel vom Illustrator signiert.
EINBAND: Orig.-Leinenband mit illustriertem Orig.-Umschlag. 24 : 16 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 11 ganzseitigen Illustrationen nach Collagen von Herbert Brandmeier. - KOLLATION: Vord. Innengelenk und wenige Bll. gelockert. Deckel tls. mit Wasserrand, Umschlag am Oberrand lichtrandig und gering gewellt. - PROVENIENZ: Privatsammlung Sigmaringen.
First German edition of this horror classic. 1 of 500 numb. copies. Very rare, as most of the print run had to be destroyed because King did not auhtorize it. With 11 illustrations by H. Brandmeier. Orig. cloth with orig. dustjacket. - Front inner hinge and few leaves at beginning somewhat loosened. Boards partly waterstained, dustjacket sunned at upper margin and slightly wavy. Title signed by the illustrator.
