• The painter, who holds a Ph.D. in geology, is considered one of the most internationally renowned Danish artists of his generation.

• Other works by the artist are at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Centre Pompidou, Paris; and the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich.
The work is registered in the Per Kirkeby Archive at Museum Jorn in Silkeborg, Denmark. We are grateful for the kind assistance.
