Good overall impression. Lower right corner slightly discoloured and minimally skinned. Else well preserved. [CM].
Etching.
Bartsch 4. Brown 5 I (of V). Monogrammed on the plate. Splendid impression on laid paper with the full platemark and broad margins. 32 : 23,5 cm (12,5 : 9,2 in). Sheet: 35,7 x 26 cm (14 x 10,2 in).
EXPERTISE: With a writing from the Calcografía Nacional, Madrid, from 21 October 2008
PROVENIENZ: Collection Richard Ford (with inscription on verso and presumably dated "1824", similar to Lugt 937)
