2,2 x 12 x 8,7 cm (0,8 x 4,7 x 3,4 in).
Oblong shape with oval sides and hinged lid. Walls in trompe-l’œil-technique and reliefed root work. Gilded knob with red cabochon. Tin gilded inside. Weight: 298 g.
Tin and bottom of lid punched with, among others, purity mark "88" as well as "88" with Kokoschnik head to right and "Δ" for Moscow and in oval hallmark "ГК", for Gustav Klingert.
Slawic Institute, Munich 1971, silver mark no. 754.
