On Japon. 35.2 x 49.8 cm (13.8 x 19.6 in). Sheet: 39 x 58,5 cm (15,3 x 23 in). The same subject in opposite direction inspired Kirchner to the small and large version of the painting "Akte im Walde" (cf. Gordon 970 and 971).
