Tivoli II. Wohl um 1925 /30.
Oil on cardboard.
Signed in lower right. Verso signed, titled, numbered "154" and inscribed "Prien Ch.", as well as with several hand-written numbers. 76 x 63 cm (29.9 x 24.8 in).
Our motif was presumably made during one of the artist's journeys. Between 1910 and 1912 Sieck made pictures with motifs of the Italian Riviera and the area around Sirmione, as of 1923 he took his family on an extended trip through Italy, at a later point they went to Greece. [EH/FS].

PROVENANCE: Artist's estate.
