Duthuit-Matisse II. Signed. Inscribed "gravé par Jacques Villon 1925" in the plate. One of 200 copies. On wove paper. 39.7 x 27.7 cm (15.6 x 10.9 in). Sheet: 52,8 x 39,1 cm ( 20,7 x 15,3 in).
Etched by Jacques Villon, see Ginestet/Pouillon E 645. Cf. the painting "L'Espagnole" by Henri Matisse, Nice 1922. With publisher's engraved address in lower plate margin. Printed by Chalographie du Louvre, Paris. Published by Galerie Bernheim-Jeune, Paris.

PROVENANCE: National Gallery Prague (verso with the stamp "NGGS Praha", not in Lugt).
