Verso of the stretcher with a label with a hand-written inscription (presumably by William Karrmann) in ink "Johann Wm. Schirmer. [..] aus der Samlung (sic!) Boecking. siehe Madame Boeckings Briefe.". 34 x 50.5 cm (13.3 x 19.8 in).
