PROVENANCE: Nassauisches Landesmuseum Wiesbaden (1931-1937).
State-owned (in 1937 confiscated from afoementioned in context of the "Degenerate Art" expropriations).
Bernhard A. Böhmer, Güstrow (acquired from aforementioned).
Presumably Edgar Horstmann, Hamburg (with fragments of his name on mounting remains on verso, presumably acquired by the aforementioend from his estate).
Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (since around the 1990s)
