Not in Vogt. Lower right monogrammed and dated. Lower left with a collection stamp. On firm, slightly structured laid paper. 49.3 x 43.5 cm (19.4 x 17.1 in), the full sheet.

• Part of a private collection for 55 years (Northern Germany)
• Christian Rohlfs renders an empathic portrait
• Firm line in black chalk and heightened in blue

The work will be presented to the Rohlfs Archive, Osthaus Museum Hagen, for verification at the earliest possible date in summer 2020.
