Signed, dated and titled in upper left. Verso once more signed, dated and titled. 135.5 x 115 cm (53.3 x 45.2 in).

• "Under the Lemon Tree", a late work by the artist, is an excellent example of his painting in the 1980s, when he began to mix an increasing figuration with notions of caricature-like polemics.
