Butin 64. Signed. From an edition of 250 copies. On offset paper, firmly laminated on board. 88.7 x 94.5 cm (34.9 x 37.2 in), the full sheet.
After the oil painting "Kerze" from 1982, however, miror-inverted. Richter initially used the motif for a poster of his solo show at the 'Mönchehaus-Museum für moderne Kunst' in Goslar in 1988. Instead of the white letters, a large signature was put on the sheet. Published by 'Verein zur Förderung moderner Kunst e.V. (at Mönchehaus-Museum für moderne Kunst), Goslar 1988. [SM].

• The oil painting "Kerze" was sold in London in 2015 for 12 million euro.
• Richter ennobles the photo-mechanic reproduction techniques, which prevail in his editions, to contemporary means of expression at eye level with classic printing techniques
