• Samuel Bak is one of the most important contemporary Jewish artists. She dedicates her creation to the fate of the Jews during the Holocaust.
• In 2017 the Samuel Bak Museum opened its gates in Vilnius, Lithuania.
• Bak has had many solo shows, among them at the Jüdisches Museum, Frankfurt a. M., the memorial place Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, and a retrospective travelling exhibition with stops at, among others, the 'Germanisches Nationalmuseum', Nuremberg, and the Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf.
PROVENANCE: Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (acquired around 1980).

Large work in good condition. Margins slightly rubbed from framing. There with tiny isolated color lossesn. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of knowledge.
