Von Lüttichau 546. With the estate stamp on the reverse, there signed and titled "Kopf eines Negermädchens" by Erich Heckel. On smooth paper. 50.2 x 35.7 cm (19.7 x 14 in), size of sheet. [AM].
• The drawing's spontaneity adds a special expressiveness to this lovely sheet.
• Presumably made in connection with the "Zigeunermappe" from 1927 – Otto Mueller's main graphic work.
• Works on paper from the late 1920s are among the most sought-after work groups on the international auction market.
