My installation practice includes exploring classic sculptural themes in conjunction with unconventional approaches and material research. I capture ideas and thoughts in drawings that also function as independent works. I create objects and series in conjunction with chance and a concrete plan from what I have collected, found, bought, from memorabilia and everyday objects. For me, it's not just about recycling objects found in public and private spaces, but also about recycling my own works again. Some of these are taken apart again and integrated into new objects or installations. The spatial arrangement and the sensitive interplay of form and material create a landscape that allows both associative and direct references to everyday living environments. I am interested in making malfunctions visible, to question existing systems and to allow for new perspectives.
