Van den Broecke 149.2. - Stylianou 66. - Koeman 8130:3B. - Sehr dekorative Karte von Zypern, mit kl. Nebenkarte der ägaischen Insel Limnos in kolor. Schmuckkartusche, 2 weiteren teils großen und dekorativen kolor. Schmuckkartuschen sowie maritimer Staffage. 2. Zustand (von 3) mit punktierter See und stärker schattierter Küstenlinie, jedoch noch mit Datierung (während oder nach der spanischen Ausgabe 1612 entfernt). Latein. Rückentext. - Etw. gebräunt und im oberen Rand leicht wasserrandig. Kolorierung einer rückseitigen Holzschnittinitale im Kartenbild leicht durchschlagend. Mittelfalte mit kl. hinterl. Einriß.
Very decorative map of Cyprus with small inset of the Aegean island Limnos. Second state with dots instead of waves marking the sea and more heavily shaded coastline. From the Latin edition 1612. - Somewhat browned and with slight marginal waterstaining. Colour of woodcut initial on verso slightly shining through. Centrefold with small backed tear.
