Erstes und letztes Bl. sowie 2 weitere fleckig, die beiden Bll. mit der goldgeh. Initiale jew. bis zum Schriftspiegel beschnitten (Verlust des Randschmucks). Insgesamt gut erhaltenes Manuskript mit dekorativen Fleuronnée-Initialen.
Latin prayer book (fragment). Manuscript on vellum. France, about 1400. Illustrated with 2 initials in colours on burnished gold grounds and numerous fine fleuronnée initials (1 6-line) in red and blue with borders. 95 leaves, sheet size 15 : 11 cm, text area 11 : 7, 5 cm. Gothic bookhand in brown ink. 32 lines. 19th cent. black velvet with gilt edges. - 4 ll. somewhat stained, the leaves with the 2 initials on gold trimmed up to the text area. In general well preserved manuscript.
