Signed lower right (by the artist?). 58,8 : 38,7 cm (23,1 : 15,2 in). Typical landscape, executed with thick brushstrokes by the painter from Hamburg. The different shades of green are partially put down with thin brushstrokes, which evoke an impression of transparency and create a special pictoresque effect typical of Herbst, in that the board shines through or is visible in certain spots.
