Seltene erste Ausgabe dieser Traktatsammlung des berühmten französischen Theologen und Mystikers.

Sehr schöner, durchgehend rubrizierter Frühdruck aus der Offizin des Johannes Sensenschmidt. Enthält: De examinatione doctrinarum; De duplici statu in ecclesia dei, curatorum et privilegiatorum. - De libris caute legendis. - Appellatio peccatoris ad divinam misericordiam. - De modo se habendi tempore schismatis. - De delectatione quaerenda in divino officio.

EINBAND: Moderner Maroquinband mit Blindprägung (signiert Vignal 1906). Folio. 29,5 : 21 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit eingemalten Lombarden in Rot, tls. mit Randausläufern. - KOLLATION: 22 nn. Bll. Gotische Type. 35 Zeilen. Durchgehend rubriziert. - ZUSTAND: Tls. minimal fleckig. Einband mit wenigen leichten Kratzspuren, Rücken verfärbt. Gut erhaltenes und sehr breitrandiges Exemplar. - PROVENIENZ: Aus der Sammlung Philosophia hermetica von J. R. Ritman, mit dessen Exlibris im vorderen Innendeckel.

First edition, very rare. Collection of treatises by the famous theologian and mystic Jean Gerson. Blindtooled 19th cent. morocco (signed Vignal 1906). 22 nn. leaves. Gothic type, 35 lines, rubricated throughout with painted lombards in red. - Margins partly minim. stained. Binding with few light scratches, spine discolored. Very fine printing by Sensenschmidt, well-preserved and broadmargined copy from the library "Philosophia hermetica" by Ritman.
