Erste lateinische Ausgabe der "Zehn Bücher über Architektur", in diesem Sammelband mit den Schriften Elementa architecturae von H. Wotton (aus dem Englischen übersetzt von J. de Laet), Lexicon Vitruvianum von B. Baldi und De Architectura von J. B. de Alberti.

EINBAND: Pergamentband des 18. Jahrhunderts mit goldgeprägter Deckelfilete, reicher floraler Rückenvergoldung und farbigem Rückenschild. 30 : 21,5 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit illustriertem Kupfertitel und zahlr. Textholzschnitten. - KOLLATION: 3 Bll., 30 S., 1 Bl., 252 S., 1 Bl. S. 253-272, 14 Bll., 164, 69 S., 1 Bl. - ZUSTAND: In den Blatträndern etwas gebräunt, vereinz. stockfleckig, vorderes Innnengelenk gelockert, Kupfertitel im rechten Rand tlw. knapp beschnitten. Einbd. mit wenigen kl. Schabspuren, Rücken unten mit kl. Fehlstelle im Bezug. - PROVENIENZ: Mit gestochenem Wappen-Exlibris.

First Latin edition of this collection of Vitruv's "Libri decem" published together by J. de Laet with H. Wotton's "Elementa architectura", B. Baldi's "Lexicon Vitruvianum" and J. B. de Alberti's "De Architectura". With engraved title and numerous woodcuts in the text. 18th century vellum with gilt filet border on boards, floral gilt decoration and label on spine. - Paper margins somewhat tanned, few leaves foxed, engr. title trimmed in the right margin, front inner hinge slightly going. Binding with few small scrapemarks, tail of spine with small missing part.
