Dekoratives Exemplar der reich illustrierten Didot-Ausgabe.

Die feinen Stiche sind von Simon und Coiny nach Vorlagen von Vivier gestochen. Tchémerzine zufolge erschien die Ausgabe in nur 500 Exemplaren.

Einband: Zeitgenössische grüne Maroquinbände mit rhombischer Fileten- und Eckvergoldung à l'éventail, reicher Rückenvergoldung, Steh- und Innenkantenvergoldung sowie Ganzgoldschnitt. 14 : 8 cm.- ILLUSTRATION: Mit 1 gestochenem Frontispiz und 274 Kupfertafeln.- ZUSTAND: Vereinz. leicht fleckig, wenige Bll. mit Knickspur. Kanten tls. gering berieben, Rücken etw. gedunkelt.- PROVENIENZ: Exlibris Baronne van Zuylen van Nyevelt (19. Jh.). - Weißes Vorblatt mit hs. Besitzeintrag Zuylen (20. Jh.).

Decoratively bound copy of this richly illustrated edition. 6 vols. With engr. frontisp. and 274 copperplates. Contemp. green morocco richly gilt à l'éventail. - Here and there slight staining, few leaves with crease. Edges partly slightly rubbed, spines a bit darkened. Bookplate baroness van Zuylen van Nyevelt.
