Schöner Druck von Nikolaus Kessler aus Basel. Durchgehend rubriziert und mit eingemalten Lombarden.

EINBAND: Neuer Lederband mit Blindprägung im Stil der Zeit und 2 Messingschließen. Folio. 32 : 23 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit großer Eingangs-Initiale in Rot und Blau sowie eingemalten Lombarden in Rot. - KOLLATION: 212 (st. 214) Bll. Got. Type. 2 Spalten. 56 Zeilen mit Seitentitel. - ZUSTAND: Fehlen der Titel und das letzte weiße Blatt. Tabula und Vita (6 Bll.) ans Ende gebunden. - Erste Bll. mit Wasserrand, wenige Bll. etw. angeschmutzt, letzte 10 Bll. sowie das erste Bl. mit verstärkten Rändern, erste Bl. der Tabula mit hinterl. Eckläsur und ergänztem Randausriß im Fußsteg (leicht Textverlust), vereinz. geringe Wurmspuren. - PROVENIENZ: Exlibris Eckhard Günther.

Part 1 (of 2). With large opening initial in red and blue as well as numerous painted lombards in red. Mod. calf with blind-tooling in contemp. style and with 2 brass clasps. 212 (of 214) leaves, lacking title and last blank. Tabula & vita (6 leaves) bound at end. - First leaves with waterstain, few leaves somewhat soiled, last 10 leaves & first leaf remargined, first leaf of Tabula with repaired corner damage and large torn out spot at lower margin (affecting text), here and there minor wormtraces.
