EINBAND: Halblederband um 1900 mit Blindprägung und rotem Rückenschild. 29,5 : 19 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit illustriertem Kupfertitel, 40 Kupfertafeln mit 57 Ansichten, davon 4 doppelblattgroße Karten (Ränder meist gefaltet). - KOLLATION: Titel, S. 3-242 (recte 218), 3 Bll.; Pag. springt bei S. 28 auf 40 und S. 84 auf 96. - ZUSTAND: Professionell gereinigtes und geglättetes Exemplar, kaum fleckig (1 Taf. und 5 Bll. braunfl.), vereinz. hinterl. Randeinrisse (Kloster Lamspringe mit minim. Bildverlust), Tafeln tls. am Unterrand knapp beschnitten (12 bis in die Darstellung reichend). - PROVENIENZ: Aus dem "Tappen'schen Familienarchiv" (Eintrag auf vord. flieg. Vorsatz).

First edition. - With illustr. engr. title and 40 copper plates with 57 views, including 4 double-page maps (margins partly folded). Half calf around 1900 with red label. 29.5 : 19 cm. - Professionally cleaned and smoothed copy, hardly stained (1 plate and 5 leaves brownish), occasional tears in the margins (Lamspringe Monastery with minimal image loss), some plates slightly trimmed at the lower margin (12 extending into image).
