Erste Ausgabe, numeriertes Exemplar. - Die Ausarbeitung eines Vortrages, den Tarski 1931 vor der Wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft Warschaus gehalten hatte. Zugleich einer der bedeutendste Texte, den die Lemberg-Warschau-Schule, eine der einflußreichsten logisch-philosophischen Schulen im Polen des 20. Jhs., hervorgebracht hat. Eine Übersetzung ins Deutsche erschien 1935 und ins Englische 1953.
EINBAND: Originalbroschur mit Deckeltitel. 24,5 : 17,5 cm. - KOLLATION: VII, 116 S., 1 Bl. - ZUSTAND: Überwiegend in der ersten Hälfte mit Randnotizen und Unterstreichungen in Bleistift, wenige in rotem Farbstift, Bindung leicht gelockert. Einband lichtrandig.
First edition, numbered copy. Tarski's philosophical essay about the concept of truth in deductive languages was one of the most important texts produced by the Lvov-Warsaw School. It was based on a lecture held by Tarski in 1931 to the Warsaw Scientific Society. Orig. wrappers with title on front board. - Mainly the first half with contemp. annotations in pencil (fewer in red pencil) in margins and text, binding slightly shaken. Wrappers sunned.
